Skyhammer Sound is FO2's Composer
We have signed a contract with Skyhammer Sound to provide music for Fantasy Online 2!
Here's an intro from the creator of all the great rough drafts we've heard so far!
“Hi everyone! My name is Janne Seppänen and I was tasked with bringing the music of Fantasy Online 2 to life. Nice to meet you!
I'm a freelance composer from Finland, and I've been writing music since 2004. While I've worked with various types of media, composing music for games has been my main focus for years now, and I've been an avid gamer ever since I discovered the Commodore 64 we had when I was a kid.
As you may have heard from the examples posted here so far, the music of FO2 is based on orchestral instruments with a sprinkle of old, even medieval instruments mixed in here and there to get a nice fantasy atmosphere. I'm playing the game at the same time I sketch out ideas to get the overall vibe of FO2 embedded in the music. The aim is to create a relaxed yet adventurous feel as you explore the world of Fantasy Online 2. Hopefully it comes across in what you're hearing!”
