Devlog #19 - Map & bugs
I started the working fixing bugs that boshed found. I also added a disconnect screen.
I think it gets the point across.
Let's add some system messages and how does the chat window look in the middle?
That looks quite nice. Should be configurable I suppose.
And now on to parsing and rendering the game's new Noob Island map made by LighterThief.
Oops found a few bugs.

We had a short tree problem, but it has now been fixed.
And there's the full Noob Island map from way above.
Whew most bugs fixed and the map looks amazing. It even has animation.
Now it's time to fix boshed bugs. These are bugs that boshed reported because he caused them. He's so good at posting bug reports I want him to teach a class to all Patrons. Yes, the second ring slot bug is still there.
I also turned on mobs fighting back for the first time. They don't attack very well yet, but they're trying.
It actually plays really well in portrait mode. Obviously need to have separate UI for not only mobile phones in portrait mode but landscape mode as well. I think iPad's will be fine as they're similar to a computer monitor.
In the coming week I will be working on player death, graveyards, reading/using npc data from the new Tiled map format, fixing boshed bugs, and finishing up the Market.
