Devlog #36 - CoSR Work & Barber

The Cave of Some Return is now working on the test server. I will be adding mobs and drops this week. It will be released to the production server before the next devlog. The level cap will be raised to 24 at this time. CoSR will be the first map to transcend into 3D space. It is located directly below Crab Coast. This means that in the future we can add holes in maps where you can fall down into a cave below. This will be great fun.

Here is the whole map. It's actually larger than I originally thought. There will be a lot to do. Quests will be added the week after it's released.

Banana Box has now been removed from the Noob Island shop. It will return next year at some point. Maybe in Summer, maybe in Fall, maybe on December 14th 2024, who knows.

Barber was added. It currently costs 0 Gems. It will cost 10 Gems in 1 month and it will increase to 20 Gems in 2 months. I'm not sure how many of these hair pieces will be available for new players. Very few I guess. Get your styling done today!

There will be 2 very nice new Gem items added next Friday. One back and one face. Both will cost 40 Gems each. Like all other Gem items they can come and go from shops at any time. What should single Gem items cost? I think 40 is a good place to start.

Watch the skill trainer in Crab Coast as he will finally be getting a bunch of new skills to go with the release of CoSR.

The top half of the screen UI is looking really good and functional these days but the bottom is not in great shape.

After CoSR I'll be working on beautifying and increasing the functionality of skill icons.
