We've had a few patches over the last two weeks.

Cave of Some Return is now about 90% done. There are a couple skills that still needed to be added to the skill shop and we still need treasure chest spawns. That's what the Standard Lockpick is for. There were 3 kinds of treasure chest mobs in FO across the caves and the pirate map.

Which exclusive item for December?

White Beard has won as the December Patreon exclusive item. It will be delivered to all active Gamer tier and above patrons on December 1st!

How should we show gaining coins/currency?
I'm trying to figure out the best way to display gains in currency/coins so don't forget to vote and post your ideas. There are some really good ideas in the comments that will likely end up being what I implement in the game.

The remastered Astronaut Box Set looks amazing. I'm really excited to see what Perseus comes up with for the next box set. It's currently a neck and neck race between pirate and ninja! Don't forget to vote! What should be the next box set?

Swamp Grotto is now available and filled with Silver Veins. The drops are what you would expect from a Silver Vein. The blacksmith down there doesn't have any recipes yet but he's working on them. They'll be available soon.

I spent a fair amount of time working on collision code again. Both the caves have pixel perfect collision now. Crab Coast and Noob Island have very different map file formats so those will have better collision in the future. The good part is that the code now works on both and should be mostly bug free. Mostly.

I didn't have time to put in hair selection for new characters yet so I decided to just leave the barber as 0 Gems until January.

Currently armor and outfit head pieces remove your hair. I'll be adding a flag for some items to not remove hair. I'd like to have hair when I'm wearing my Halo. This is how it worked in FO, I just forgot to implement it. Oops.

I added a bag crafter in Crab Coast. The Satchel is now craftable. One more will be added in the near future. Previously these bags were Gem items but that felt kind of pay 2 win so that's why I've made them coin purchasable and craftable this time around in FO2.

I play tested quite a bit and adjusted some skill requirements to be more accessible. I also adjust some cast times to be more reasonable. I may have gone a bit too far though and I might readjust again. We'll see. Once we get up to around level 30 and Rank 4 skills I'll do another play through and feel things out. I've only adjusted strength and agility based skills so far. Int skills are still what they were originally. Play testing takes a lot of time!

I have added "Crafted by" to all crafted items so once the Market is up and running you'll know exactly who made whatever you're trying to buy. I might add a NPC in the future to allow you to remove that for a price. Who knows.

Both Cave of Some Return and Swamp Grotto are pretty light on quests but don't worry, Mirabella Cove is coming late December and it's loaded. Although, the quests for it will probably show up in January as it needs a lot of reworking. We'll see as development progresses.

There were a lot of items added, bugs fixed, and just general quality of life improvements as well.

In the coming week I'll be working on getting faction xp/levels/UI working and filling out spawns in Swamp Grotto.
