Lighterthief is joining the Fantasy Online 2 dev team!

Everyone get excited because LT is back! Here’s what he has to say.

Hey!

I’m Lighterthief, I did some art for the latter stages of FO.

Like everyone else, I was hit with nostalgia when I saw Gamers FO2 project. So many memories. For me personally, it was my start in pixel art. I loved making sprites in ps3k and it never occurred to me, it could be a job. Ten years later and I’m still doing pixelart as a freelancer (next to being a painter). So FO will always hold that special place in my heart for giving me that start.

Even more special, next month I’ll be joining Gamer in making Fantasy Online 2!

Gamers intention is to bring back FO, but also improve on it. That’s what I’ll try to do as well on the art side.

So from May I will make some mock-ups to see if I can find a nice style that builds on the old FO vibe, while also being an improvement. I’m sure with your input, we can find it.

It’s been really fun seeing all these people come back. And look forward to seeing you all in-game!
