Patch Notes #129 - Infested Undercity
Infested Under City is here!
Climb down into the crypt using the entrance above the church in New Crab City. It's your job to save the Undercity from the monsters that lurk within and discover all of its secrets! This has been one of the most fun zones to work on from the map rework, new mobs, new story and new loot! I hope you all enjoy this zone! -Dino
Echoes of the Crypt
Within the Crypt rests the first great king of New Crab City, King Clawrence the First, and his trusted few who protected the city years ago. The Crypt walls have been broken down by the creatures that live in the Undercity, and in doing so, they have awakened the Echoes of King Clawrence the First and the first great Archmage, Tiamat, Colossus, and Paladin.
Agile, Wise, Stout, and Brutal Subclass Books and Rings
Infested Undercity introduces the ability to tailor your Books and Rings into more hybrid versions of themselves. For example, the Wise Tiamat Book gives 5k Armor, 55 AGI, 55 INT, and 5 Crit.
These items are craftable and require boss drops and a new mineable material called Toxic Goop. You will also get your original Tier 5 Book or Ring back so you don't need to make a bunch of Tier 5 books and rings!
Shadows
Infested Undercity holds many secrets and one of those is a powerful Warlock. He's used his powers to turn heroes of the past into Shadow versions. Will you fight them, run away or turn them into outfits???
Like the Shadows?
Every day King Clawrence will offer you a quest to receive a Shadow Essence that you can mold with your Tier 5 Armor and Weapons! Creating a Shadow outfit version of the item and returning the original Tier 5 piece back to you.
Ultimate Skills
These skills are locked behind some hard work and determination! You'll need to work side by side with the Echoes in the crypt to get your hands on these skills!
Tiamat's Retribution - Deal 90,000 Damage.
Archmage's Wisdom - Gain 3,500 Energy every 3 seconds for 30 seconds.
Boon of Colossus - Heals you for 20,000 HP every 5 seconds and absorbs 50% of incoming damage for 30 seconds.
Absorbing damage does not stack.
Paladin's Judgement - Gain 65,000 Attack Power for 30 seconds.
Drain Dwellers Faction
A new faction awaits you within the sewers... the Drain Dwellers! Those that walk among the sludge and call this place home. Get your hands on these new items focusing on Strength and Agility.
Toxic Goop
A new minable resource has arrived with Infested Undercity, Toxic Goop! You'll need Toxic Goop to craft your Subclass Books, Rings and other secrets! Here is an updated preview of the minable node and resource items!
Fortify
A new way for Stamina players to block that incoming damage! Fortify 1, located in ToLS, absorbs 25% of incoming damage and Fortify 2, located in IU, absorbs 33% of incoming damage!
New Guild Items
Two new guild items can now be purchased in New Crab City at the Guild Hall!
Love, Loss and Loot and The Great Egg Hunt
The Valentine's day event has left for the year but next on the table is The Great Egg Hunt coming April 4th! You'll need to solve riddles to help you locate hidden eggs. There will be two quest givers this time round - one in Mirabella Cove and one in New Crab City. The Mirabella Cove NPC will have you hunt eggs anywhere from Noob Island to Frozen North and the NPC in New Crab City will have you hunt from Crablantis all the way into the Infested Undercity.
